About

Aster, a hovercar mechanic, lives with her civil engineer brother Jember in the futuristic city-state of Addar, where magic is rare, volatile, and exploited by scavengers, local gangs, and the government to create Artifacts-magical items that can alter space and time. The siblings try and stay as far away as they can from the dangers of magic and the city’s seedy underbelly for their own safety. But when Aster gets an unusual repair at her workplace one day, she gets drawn into a world of magical crime, drag racing, and a power that threatens to tear her apart from the inside out.
